Meet the Owner

Hi, I’m Morgan, founder of The Spotted Dalmatian, mom to Austin and Elliott, and the person behind all the bows, boxes, pretty little finds, and probably far too many late-night boutique ideas.

Before The Spotted Dalmatian, my career looked very different. I spent more than a decade working in Human Resources, eventually moving into HR leadership within the private aviation industry. I loved the people side of the work, building teams, helping businesses grow, and creating places where people could thrive.

But as my girls grew, so did the feeling that I wanted to be more present for this season of their lives.

Eventually, I made the big decision to step away from my HR leadership career and stay home with my children. It was a huge change after spending so many years building a career I was proud of, but it also gave me the opportunity to ask myself what I wanted this next chapter to look like.

And somewhere between school drop-offs, bows, birthday parties, shopping for my girls, and life with our very spoiled Dalmatian, Mazie, The Spotted Dalmatian began to take shape.

I’ve always loved finding those special little things that make childhood feel extra sweet—the perfect dress, an adorable bow, a thoughtful birthday gift, something fun tucked into a holiday basket, or one of those completely unnecessary finds that you buy simply because it makes you smile.

I wanted to create a boutique filled with exactly those things.

Everything at The Spotted Dalmatian is thoughtfully selected with real families in mind and with the same question I ask myself when shopping for Austin and Elliott: Would I buy this for my own girls?

This business allows me to combine so many pieces of who I am: the businesswoman who spent years building a career, the mom who wanted more time with her children, and the person who genuinely loves making ordinary moments feel a little more special.

The Spotted Dalmatian is very much a family story, and I’m so grateful that you’re here for it.

Thank you for shopping small, supporting this new chapter of mine, and letting us be a tiny part of your family’s memories.

Playful days. Pretty things. And plenty of cuddles.
